i have a regular halogen light on my 2001 yamaha yzf 600r which uses an H4 bulb and was wondering if i buy a conversion kit online for an H4 bulb HID kit would i be able to use it on my bike?
it might affect the charging system later on..

i wanted to buy an HID conversion kit for my 95 dodge intrepid. (i really need brighter lights!). i bought bulbs on ebay for $13 (5000k Zenon HID) but they arent very bright. someone told me that getting the HID conversion will solve this problem. (some kits i saw came with bulbs anyway)

I just put the bulbs in, got them off E bay and been using them for two years now, about 10$

There are 3000k, 4300k, 6000k, 8000k,10000k, and 12000k conversion kits. What does this mean? Does it have something to do with color?

I wanted to know since, these HID lights use a 12 volt power source from a car, is it possible to get like one 9 volt battery, and 2 AA 1.5volt batteries and power up the light?

They shouldn’t be illegal, as a lot of cars come factory stock with them. Just as long as they aren’t a different colored bulb, stick with the blue ones.

I am getting projectors for my car, but I need the HID’s and the ballasts, al that crap. What are some good brands, I have heard there are some really crappy HID kits out there.
